Project Overview:

General contractor for the State of Maine’s first renewable natural gas (RNG) dairy digester that delivers gas into Summit Natural Gas of Maine’s distribution system. The facility is located on Flood Brothers farm in Clinton, ME and receives manure from other local farms.

  • Mechanical work scope included process pipe fabrication (HDPE, Stainless, CS, and PVC), plumbing, HVAC, and equipment setting and installation.
  • Some pipe and pipe assemblies were prefabricated in our weld shop in Bow, NH and then shipped to the construction site in Clinton, ME. Also prefabricated on site. We also prefabricated pipe on site.
  • Installed manure handling equipment, heat exchangers and loops as well as effluent water piping and equipment.
  • Received and installed Ammongas upgraders and biologic scrubber equipment including a generator, compressors, chiller, carbon filters, and numerous control containers.
  • Pressure testing and commissioning were also conducted as part of our work scope.
