Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, rest stops and shower stations were  eliminated  at this year’s Pan Mass Challenge. David White was stumped and wanted to figure out a way to get his exhausted (and sweaty) team a shower before the long ride home. City of Westfield PFAS System Completion

Our Mechanical Construction Division recently completed a project in Westfield, MA due to the prevalence of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances – PFAS and PFOA. The city’s efforts were honored by Water and Wastes Digest as a 2019 Top Project Winner. PFAS and PFOA include a group of man-made chemicals that do not readily break down in either the environment or the human body and, therefore, can build up over time. White Companies, a construction services and utility management firm, recently presented proceeds from its charity golf tournament to two designated organizations that the tournament was held for – Easter Seals of Massachusetts and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). In total, the event raised $30,000 with each charity receiving $15,000. Easter Seals and JDRF are two charities that continuously strive to assist those affected by their disabilities.
