Our Mechanical Construction Division recently completed a project in Westfield, MA due to the prevalence of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances – PFAS and PFOA. The city’s efforts were honored by Water and Wastes Digest as a 2019 Top Project Winner. PFAS and PFOA include a group of man-made chemicals that do not readily break down in either the environment or the human body and, therefore, can build up over time.
