R.H. White Crews Answer the Call on Emergency Work

Construction and service. Large and small. Day and night, we stand ready to meet your needs. This motto for our company was abundantly clear last month when we answered the call for two emergency service jobs that required round-the-clock crews to solve problems.

Sewage Pump Station Emergency

A sewage pump station had an equipment malfunction that caused millions of gallons of sewage to flow into a local lake.  One of our mechanical construction crews responded to the call on a Sunday morning and stayed on a rotating schedule the entire week to assist in getting this critical pump station back online and installing a bypass pump system as an external backup for use in emergencies or for planned shutdowns needed for maintenance and repairs.

After-the- Meter Gas Leak Emergency

The second was an after-the-meter gas leak emergency at a large entertainment complex that came in on a Wednesday night. Our crew mobilized to assess the situation and gathered the appropriate members of our construction service, utility construction, and equipment divisions involved. With the help of our Operator Qualified (OQ) personnel and our equipment including our Vac Truck, it was an example of the right people and right equipment coming together to solve our customers issues while protecting the public from potential safety hazards. This was another multi-day, round-the-clock project.

For nearly 100 years, R.H. White has been committed to serving our customers’ construction, operation, and maintenance needs around the clock. These events are just two recent examples of living by the philosophy of – Any job. Anywhere. Anytime.
