To meet building code relative to hazardous material storage, the existing building was structurally separated into two distinct buildings without being obvious to the casual observer.
Building interior stripped down to shell for re-installation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire suppression, drywall, ceilings, flooring and office partitions.
Complex hood and ventilation structures were required in lab areas to support requirements of air changes ranging between 3 and 30 per hour.
