Groundwater remediation at this site involved 25 individual wells. Each well required 3 pipes; air-in, contaminated water out, treated water in. The pipes ran to and from a treatment building on site. Contaminated soils were also removed as part of this project.

Staff within the Underground Utility Division have OSHA HAZWOPER 40 training and attend annual refresher courses to remain qualified to work at hazardous waste sites.
