The BETA Group and R.H.White teamed together to offer design-build services under a Guaranteed Maximum Price contract to Maples Rehabilitation, a nursing home and rehabilitation center. The team developed a design and construction sequence that allowed Maples to re-use much of their existing sub-surface disposal fields and tanks, thereby reducing construction costs and minimizing temporary pump-out charges during construction. Maples Facilities Manager Glenn Capachin describes the treated effluent as “like a mountain stream". This Membrane Bioreactor plant has a design flow of 22,000 gallons per day.
