Chief Estimator
This position specializes in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction. Individual may serve as Estimating Department head. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Must have 5-10 years of Treatment Plant Construction Estimating experience.
Minimum experience as Lead Estimator on treatment plant bids in excess of $10 million.
Ability to lead an Estimating Team and work efficiently with Operations team from turnover to closeout.
Excellent Interpersonal, Communication and Problem Solving Skills.
Bachelors Degree in a Construction related discipline.
Knowledge of Estimating software programs such as Timberline.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
Senior Estimator
This position specializes in Industrial and Commercial building construction and upgrades. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Five to ten years of estimating experience.
Experience in CM/DB conceptual estimating and project delivery methods.
Ability to lead an estimating team and work efficiently with the Operations Team.
Experience in successful project buyout and subcontract negotiations.
Strong knowledge of Timberline Estimating Software.
Candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree in a Construction related discipline.
Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Senior Millwright
Supervises, coordinates and executes activities involving the installation, repair and maintenance of pipes, fittings, machinery and equipment related to water and wastewater treatment processes. Working crew chief should be able to: Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy; make decisions based on measurable criteria; and visualize objects in three-dimensions from prints and drawings; use logical step-by-step procedures in work; plan work activities and sequence; solve problems; make decisions based on measurable information, especially productivity; and perform a variety of duties which may change often. Completion of apprenticeship program and appropriate journeyman experience required. Plumbing license in MA, CT(P2) or N.H. required plus pipefitting and DOT licenses.
Piper
Layout, fabricate, assemble, and install piping for water or gas. Dig, spread and level dirt, gravel or sand using hand tools. Mix, pour, and spread concrete and asphalt using hand tools. Break-up road surfaces using hand and power tools.
Equipment Operator
Operates a variety of power construction equipment such as excavators, backhoes and front end loaders to excavate or move dirt, rock, sand, gravel and other materials; and assists craft workers in performing their assigned duties. Digs, spreads and levels dirt, gravel or sand; and, mixes, pours and spreads concrete and asphalt using hand tools.
CDL Dump Truck Driver
Transports and dumps loose materials such as sand, gravel, earth, stone, asphalt or waste products. May also move forms, lumber, and other construction materials. Dig, spread and level dirt, gravel or sand using hand tools. Mix, pour and spread concrete and asphalt using hand tools.
Foreman- Underground
Supervises and coordinates activities of work crew engaged in the fabricating, assembling, installing and maintaining of piping. Gas/Water/Utilties experience desired. Working foreman should be able to work within precise limits of standards of accuracy and make decisions based on measurable criteria. Physically, working foreman must be able to work easily and skillfully with hands, lift and carry, have good vision (either naturally or with correction) and stand, stoop, kneel or crouch.
Laborer- Underground
Assist Foreman and skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties under close supervision. Digging, spreading and leveling dirt, sand and gravel using a pick, shovel or rake. Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies. Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel and other materials using hand tools. Join, wrap and seal sections of pipe.
Mechanical Construction Project Manager
Monitor/control construction in conjunction with the project superintendent to ensure that schedules and budgets are met. Requirements:BS in engineering or equivalent and 10+ years experience in construction, design, finance, and management. Experience with water, wastewater or sewage treatment plants preferred.
