A commitment to excellence and be able to plan, coordinate and lead the company’s Estimating Department, while providing technical and administrative expertise to the entire Estimating function.
Experience managing a construction company's Estimating Department, including familiarity with budget issues, staffing, work assignments, and performance evaluations.
Demonstrate experience assisting corporate and project management to determine what types of projects to bid, bid strategies, and techniques.
Significant experience reviewing all final estimate packages to insure accuracy and completeness prior to formal quotation.
Must also be able to provide technical assistance in negotiating contracts, change orders, etc., as required.
