Community Service Activities

The R.H.White family of companies takes seriously the responsibilities of good corporate citizenship. Supporting efforts to help others in the community and around the world, the company routinely organizes benefits and charitable events involving employees and their families.

Employee enthusiasm for giving back has made possible sizeable donations to charities both of local and national concern, such as the American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Alternatives Unlimited, Jimmy Fund, Easter Seals, Community Harvest Program, Telegram & Gazette Santa Fund, Worcester Children’s Friend, and Worcester Firefighters Fund. Special collections and assistance for immediate needs such as disaster relief are routinely organized and executed with the help of company and employee resources.

Together, the R.H.White team makes a big difference.

David White participated in the 2008 Pan Mass Challenge on August 2, 2008 and raised $7,000 for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. David felt the event was phenomenal, and the personal experience of completing the 112 mile ride from Sturbridge to Bourne was beyond anything else he has experienced. All of the unbelievable support that he received from everyone helped to make his mission possible. Through this event and the generosity of the sponsors, the much needed funds are raised for researching and developing cures for cancer, which has touched so many of our lives.
